SYLHET :: Sylhet Government Mohila College student Khadija Akter Nargis, hacked by a BCL leader of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) on Monday, was shifted to a Dhaka hospital in a critical condition early Tuesday.
She has been kept on life support in the Square Hospital. Square Hospitals Deputy Medical Director Dr Mirza Nizamuddin on Tuesday evening told journalists, "Her condition is extremely critical. There is very little chance of her recovery. Yet, we are leaving no stone unturned.
Khadija Akter Nargis has been kept under 72 hours observation after physicians carried out surgery in her her at the Square Hospital in the capital.Senior Consultant of the hospital’s neurosurgery department SM Rezaus Sattar informed this.
“Khadija is undergoing treatment at the hospital from early Tuesday. We conducted surgery successfully in her head. She has been kept under 72 hours observation. The next decision about her treatment will be taken after 72 hours”, he said.
A case has been filed in connection with the attack on this connection.Abdul Quddus, uncle of Nargis, filed the case accusing Badrul Alam with Shahporan Thana on Tuesday noon.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahporan Thana Shajalal Munsi confirmed the news.
