SYLHET :: Bangladesh scored 265 losing all wickets in 50 overs
after skipper Mashrafe Mortaza won toss and chose to bat first.
Two half-centuries from Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah along with a quick knock from Shakib Al Hasan helped Bangladesh to set a moderate target of 266 for touring Afghanistan in the first of a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in Dhaka on Sunday.
Dawlat Zadran claimed 4 wickets for 73 while Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi bagged 2 wickets each and Mirwais Ashraf and Naveen-ul-Haq got 1 wicket each.
The match began at 2:30 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
