SYLHET :: A Dhaka court has cleared Tahmid Hasib Khan of all the charges in the Gulshan cafe attack case filed under Section 54 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPc) as police did not found his involvement in the attack.
Metropolitan Magistrate Nur Nabi passed the order on Wednesday.
On October 2, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Laskar Sohel Rana granted bail to Tahmid, a Canadian university student, in the case.
Earlier,on August Police arrested Tahmid on suspicion of having links with the Gulshan attackers.
Twenty hostages, including 17 foreign nationals, were killed by the militants in an attack at Holey Artisan Bakery in city's posh Gulshan area on July 1. Five militants and one suspected associate of the attackers were also killed during a commando operation inside the café on July 2.
