Sylhet college-girl attacker won’t be spared:Home minister

SYLHET ::  Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the person, who attacked the Sylhet female college student Khadija Akter Nargis, must face trial.
 The Home Minister said this while speaking at a dialogue on ‘India-Bangladesh Relations’ organized by Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum at the Secretariat on Tuesday noon.

Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that nobody will be spared in the incident of attempting to murder a Sylhet MC College girl.

Meanwhile, the Sylhet female college student Nargis who was hacked by a `so called` lover is now on life-support at the Square Hospital in the capital.

However,Khadija Akter Nargis has been kept under 72 hours observation after physicians carried out surgery in her her at the Square Hospital in the capital.Senior Consultant of the hospital’s neurosurgery department SM Rezaus Sattar informed this.

Earlier,on Monday evening, Khadija Akter Nargis, 23, a student of Sylhet Government Mohila College and daughter of Masuk Miah, a resident of Hausa village in Sadar upazila, was hacked on her way home from college by Badrul Alam, the assistant secretary of SUST unit of BCL.

A case has been filed in connection with the attack on  this connection.Abdul Quddus, uncle of Nargis, filed the case accusing Badrul Alam with Shahporan Thana on Tuesday noon.
